PhD Kacper Podbucki received his PhD in Engineering and Technical Sciences in 2025 after defending his dissertation titled “Integration of vision and sensory data in monitoring of measurement vehicle environment”, which was distinguished by the Discipline Council of Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies at Poznań University of Technology.
He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Automation and Robotics (specialization: Vision Systems) from the Faculty of Computing at Poznań University of Technology in 2019. His research interests include embedded devices, edge computing, artificial intelligence, and neural networks in vision and sensory systems for vehicle monitoring, including specialized measurement equipment. PhD Kacper Podbucki is a member of the team developing the project “Measurement platform for testing airfield lighting navigation systems” as part of scientific and research activities.
He is an employee of the Division of Signal Processing and Electronic Systems, Insitiute of Automatic Control and Robotics of Poznan University of Technology as assistant since 2019. His area of scientific interest is improving integration of vision and sensory data in edge computing devices using neural networks and artificial intelligence algorithms. Kacper Podbucki is also a member of the board of IEEE Poland Section as Student Activities Committee Chair.
